The Atlanta Girls’ School Learning Lab supports students by providing small-group tutoring sessions outside the class day. Students are able to access the lab as a drop-in or with a reservation. During lab hours, tutors work with small groups of girls in a variety of subjects to complete homework and prepare for tests. Sessions may include activities related to a subject-specific concept, general study and organizational skills, or preview of upcoming information. Tutors are able to track student progress and provide feedback to teachers via a Google doc. If interested, tutors may also be able to arrange to observe classes, conference directly with teachers, or teach a class. The hours of operation are the following: Monday - Thursday from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 8:45 am. Tutors will be asked to commit to a regular schedule.
