Susan Belmonte Pre-Teaching Advisor

Susan Belmonte came to Georgia Tech in 2012 after a 17-year career as a high school Latin teacher, including five as a department chair. She serves as the pre-teaching and pre-graduate advisor on the Pre-Graduate and Pre-Professional (PGPP) team and was the pre-law advisor for three years. She is a two-time recipient of a Fulbright grant (2016, Germany; 2002, Italy), a two-recipient of a National Endowment for the Humanities teacher insittute grant (1996, Harvard; 2004, Notre Dame of Maryland University) and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Teaching and Learning with a focus on teaching and teacher education at Georgia State University. Susan has an M.Ed. in Special Education from Kennesaw State University and a B.A. in Latin and Ancient Greek from the University of Georgia. She was also a post-baccalaureate student and Rotary International Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar at the University of Cambridge, U.K., where she studied Classical Art and Archaeology. |
