Are you interested in contributing to STEM education research and practice?
Do you have an idea on how to teach an idea better than you were taught?
Want to give back to the schools and communities that will create the scientists and engineers of the future?
Apply to be part of the STEM Mobile Lab Vertically Integrated Project (VIP). In this VIP course, advisors Jack Wood and Tyler Kinner – both part of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) – work with project teams to develop innovations in informal STEM education, new methods and tools for K12 laboratory activities, and resources for computer science and cybersecurity education. Participating students will have the opportunity to learn about educational psychology, modern STEM education, and the application of subject matter knowledge to training and teaching. Participants will also practice their project management, design thinking, and team work skills.
ALL majors are welcome to apply.
